Now Madhya Pradesh pro tem speaker says, building Ram temple in Ayodhya will destroy coronavirus

Rameshwar Sharma, Madhya Pradesh Assembly Pro tem Speaker said on Wednesday that construction of the Ram temple will destroy the coronavirus, news agency ANI reported on Thursday.

“He [Ram] had reincarnated for the welfare of mankind and to kill demons,” Sharma said in Gwalior. “As soon as the construction of Ram Temple begins, the destruction of the COVID-19 pandemic will begin too.”


The Bharatiya Janata Party leader said that coronavirus has affected not just India but the whole world.

“We are not only observing social distancing but also remembering our holy figures,” he said.

Earlier too various BJP leaders had come up with some ideas about curing the coronavirus infection. Suman Haripriya, a legislator in Assam has in March said that cow urine and cow dung could help fight the disease.

BJP legislator from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Nand Kishore Gujjar also said that the COVID-19 infection did not enter ‘Goshalas’ (cow shelters) and areas where ‘Ram Rajya’ prevailed. He also distributed cloves which were energised by ‘mantras’ to keep the virus away.
