Telangana: Police personnel suspended for kicking the father of a deceased teen 

Telangana government on Thursday decided to suspend the police officer who allegedly kicked a man who was protesting over the death of his 16-year-old daughter, a report in India Today said.

An official release said the minister ordered the SP to initiate action suspending the police constable (349), N Sridhar who "manhandled" the father of deceased teen.

In the video which was extensively shared on social media N Sridhar, the police personnel is seen brutally kicking the man whose daughter had reportedly committed suicide.

India Today quoted police as saying that the girl's parents have previously blamed the college management of negligence leading to her death and had demanded compensation from them.

Following the incident, the Sangareddy district police "attached" the policeman to the headquarters and ordered a departmental enquiry.
