Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi had assured the daughter of one of the CRPF jawans who died in Pulwama terror attack that she will help her in fulfilling her dreams of becoming a doctor.

Priyanka spoke to Ajit Kumar Azad's daughter Isha over phone. During the conversation, Priyanka came to know about her aspiration and assured Isha that she will extend all her help in fulfilling this.

This conversation was coordinated by former Congress MP Annu Tandon of Unnao.

Priyanka had asked Isha what her plans are for the future. So she said that she wants to help people by becoming a doctor. Priyanka promised that she would help her as much as she can.

Ajit's father Pyarelal said, "The faith and assurance that Priyanka Gandhi has given to my family will help us recover from the shock in this moment of grief."

It is also to be noted that Ajit Kumar Azad was posted in the CRPF's 115th battalion. The martyr's daughter is raising demand for action by the government. Ajit Kumar has two daughters.

Priyanka had earlier spoken to the father of Awadesh Kumar Yadav, another martyr of Pulwama. He was a resident of Chandauli in UP. Priyanka had said to Yadav, 'It happened with my father too, that’s why I can understand your grief’.
