Congress leader and MP from Wayanad, Kerala Rahul Gandhi has written a post on Facebook appealing to people for extending help to his constituency which is facing the menace of floods.

He has listed out the things required for his constituency and given phone numbers also for people to contact and donate.

He had visited Kavalapara in his Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency on Sunday that suffered a landslide due to heavy downpour.

He took stock of the rescue operations and appealed for more help immediately.

Before leaving for Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi had announced on Saturday that he would spend the next few days in his Lok Sabha constituency to oversee the relief measures in the flood-hit district.

My Parliamentary Constituency, Wayanad, has been devastated by floods with thousands left homeless and shifted to relief camps.
