One killed, seven missing after a boat capsizes in Bhagalpur’s Naugachhia

Several people missing after a boat capsized in Naugachhia area of Bhagalpur on Thursday. There were over 100 people on board the boat, rescue and search operation underway.

Local administration and residents rushed to help in rescue operations.

“One person dead and seven people missing after a boat capsized in Naugachhia area of Bhagalpur earlier today. Rescue & search operation underway by State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams, 9 people have been rescued so far”, said District Magistrate, Bhagalpur
