Stones were pelted at Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during his Kisan Samman Yatra at Morena, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, April 1 evening, claimed state Congress president Arun Yadav.

Yadav also expressed surprise that news of the incident was absent in many newspapers.

National Herald has not been able to independently confirm the news.

In June 2017, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had faced the heat when six farmers were said to have lost their lives in ‘police firing’ in Mandsaur in the state. While the MP Police denied having opened fire, the Chief Minister announced a compensation of ₹10 lakh each to the kin of each deceased farmer.
