The 67th National Film Awards were announced at National Media Centre, in Delhi on Monday, March 22. Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore was awarded Best Hindi Film.

Sikkim has been announced as the Most Film-friendly State of 2019.

Marakkar Lion of the Arabian Sea won the Best Feature Film award while Kangana Ranaut won the Best Actress award for Manikarnika and Panga. Manoj Bajpayee was given the Best Actor award for Bhonsle sharing it with Dhanush (Tamil).
