Uttar Pradesh: Man killed after being greeted ‘Ram Ram’ near ordnance factory in Ghaziabad

In Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, two miscreants shot at a young man after greeting him with ‘Ram-Ram’. Soon after the incident, the miscreants ran away from the spot. On receiving the information, Police and forensic team arrived at the spot, collected evidence from the scene of the incident and sent the body for postmortem. According to the police, the accused shot five bullets at the youth.

According to media reports, the incident took place outside the Ordinance Factory in Ghaziabad. Gaurav, a resident of Chittauda village in Muradnagar area, had left for his shop on his bike on Tuesday. He was stopped near the ordnance factory by two bike-borne miscreants and greeted with ‘Ram Ram’. Then they fired five bullets at Gaurav. Gaurav died on the spot.

If the family members of Gaurav are to be believed, he had a fight with Vicky, a resident from the same village a few days ago. According to the brother of the deceased, Atul, when he reached the spot, the people at the spot told him that a young man named Vicky of his village has murdered Gaurav.

Ghaziabad SP Sudhir Kumar said that the people of the village are talking about this murder but no one has filed a report with the police as yet. As soon as the families file the report, the accused will be arrested. Prima facie it seems the incident of mutual enmity and revenge killing.
