All India Kisan Sabha’s general secretary, Hannan Mollah alleged a well-planned conspiracy and connivance orchestrated by the enemies of farmers behind the Red Fort violence.

Mollah was the first to condemn the violence. While criticizing the violence he also appealed to the media to not fan the negative part of the protest.

Saying that the violence could not happen without ‘connivance’ between the people at power, the farmer leader said, “It was a well-planned conspiracy to derail the farmers' protest and malign us.”

“We need to be more vigilant,” said Mollah.

Distancing himself and the AIKS from actor Deep Sidhu who led farmers to the Red Fort, Mollah alleged that the actor maligned the peaceful farmers’ protest.

On the future of the protest, he said farm unions will sit and discuss the next course of action.

In the video released by the Left front, Mollah can be heard appealing to farmers to remain peaceful.

AIKS is one of the 500+ farmers’ unions protesting across the country against the new farm laws that were passed in Parliament last year.
