Before Pak PM Imran Khan’s speech in UNGA, a plane on Friday circled over the Statue of Liberty with a message ‘UN must help end human rights abuses in Balochistan’.

A massive billboard, highlighting human rights abuses in Balochistan and urging the United Nation for help, went up near Times Square in New York.

UN Headquarter is situated in New York which is currently holding annual United Nations General Assembly sessions where world leaders have gathered to discuss global issues such as climate change, terrorism, etc.


There is a large Baloch population living in the United States. Balochistan is a province which is occupied by Pakistan since 1948. Balochs are fighting for independence for more than five decades.
