WATCH: UNGA laughs at Trump’s claim about his achievements in 2 years

World leaders, diplomats and other delegates could not control their laughter on Tuesday, September 25, when United States President Donald Trump told then at the United Nations General Assembly that his administration in the past two years had achieved more than almost any previous administration in the history of the United States.

“One year ago I stood before you for the first time in this grand hall. I addressed the threats facing our world, and I presented a vision to achieve a brighter future for all of humanity. Today I stand before the United Nations General Assembly to share the extraordinary progress we’ve made”, said Trump. The gathering of diplomats, trained to keep a polite, poker face in all situations, could not hold back their laughter at the US President’s next, and rather grandiose statement. “In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country,” declared Trump.

The loud laughter caused the US President to pause. “Didn’t expect that reaction but that’s okay,” said Trump magnanimously, which earned him a few claps.
