Ayodhya mediation panel moves SC for resumption of talks

Ayodhya mediation committee on Monday filed a short memorandum before the Supreme Court seeking its permission to resume talks

Ayodhya mediation committee on Monday filed a short memorandum before the Supreme Court seeking its permission to resume talks.

The three-member Ayodhya panel headed by former Supreme Court Judge F.M.I. Kalifulla.


According to the panel, the parties across religious divide have approached the panel seeking resumption of negotiations for settlement in the Ayodhya Ram temple dispute. Although they do not want the hearing in the case to stop.

A Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi is holding daily hearing in the case.
