Modi, Amit Shah & Hegde are not Hindus: Prakash Raj
The actor in the past has also criticised PM Modi for his silence over journalist Gauri Lankesh’s murder and following some Twitter users who had expressed joy over her killing,

Actor Prakash Raj on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP chief Amit Shah and Union Minister Anant Kumar Hedge are not Hindus, stressing that those who support killings cannot be Hindus.
Speaking at the India Today conclave South 2018, Prakash wondered, “how can the question of PM and the head of his party being Hindu be termed wrong when BJP is supporting fringe elements who are creating communal divide. My PM is silent about those who spread such violence. Why is he not questioning the ministers who issue such statements, why doesn’t the Prime Minister act?"
Responding to the questions from a section of audience he wondered if some Union ministers even know the preamble of the Constitution.
The actor who in the past also criticised PM Modi for his silence over journalist Gauri Lankesh's murder and following some Twitter users who had expressed joy over her killing, said: “When Gauri Lankesh, my friend was killed, some people celebrated the murder. These were people who were being followed by PM Modi. Then I say those who support violence, killing, are not Hindus.”
“My problem is that — who killed (her) is not important — but who is celebrating is clearly seen (on Twitter). Who is happy can be clearly seen. There may not be proof (regarding the killing), but things can be seen. Today through social media, the hidden cruelty is known. We have a prime minister amidst us who is sitting with his eyes shut to this,” he added before asking the audience if Prime Minister Modi isn’t a better actor.
