Rahul writes to Kerala CM over Wayanad issues  

Congress MP from Wayanad requested the Kerala CM to take steps towards reconstruction of Kaippinikadavu bridge

Appealing the Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan to reconstruct Kaippinikadavu bridge, Rahul Gandhi, the current Member of Parliament from Wayanad wrote, “I request you to kindly take steps towards reconstruction of the bridge at the earliest.”

In the letter to Vijayan, Gandhi highlighted the issue of Kaippinikadavu bridge which connects Kurumbilangode and Chungathara village.


In another letter, Gandhi urged Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda to release early payment of monetary compensation and a comprehensive rehabilitation package for the tribals.

He also penned a three-point recommendation to the Minister for consideration that includes sustainable livelihood generation and also asked for disaster resilient housing.
