Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal(United) has made fresh allegations on its official Twitter handle against the Bharatiya Janata Party’s land purchases in the weeks before note ban. The party tweeted that it has documents showing BJP purchased land in cash and below government rate.

The JD(U) has tweeted a batch of documents related to purchase of a piece of land in Kishanganj District which was purchased in cash for Rs 15 lakhs, whereas the government rate of the land was Rs 39,30,000 lakhs.

JD(U) also released a document on its twitter handle which it says shows BJP purchased Kishanganj land with cash.

“This is a scam of monumental levels and must be investigated under Supreme Court. This is just one district we are talking about, imagine the proportions across all districts in India since BJP has already accepted that it purchased land across India.”
JD(U) Bihar spokesperson and MLC Neeraj Kumar
