It’s ‘achhe din’ for scamsters, but Narendra Modi is an honest man!

Our “Na khaunga, na khane doonga” Prime Minister has happily turned a deaf ear and a blind eye to many nefarious activities. Yet we are to believe Narendra Modi is an honest man!

The whispers are getting ever louder that Gujarati billionaire jeweller Mehul Choksi was allegedly assisted by the Government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to not just flee India after swindling Indian banks of thousands of crores, but allegedly also to seek citizenship in Antigua where he will be beyond the reach of of Indian agencies. Choksi can now travel all over the world, except India, with his Antiguan passport. We have photographic evidence of how, this April, Modi sought out and fraternised with the President of little-known Antigua at an international conference, allegedly about the same time that Mehul bhai’s application for Antiguan citizenship was being finalised there. What a happy coincidence!

Choksi’s high profile jeweller nephew Nirav Modi, whose ad campaign for high-end expensive jewellery adorned all the vantage points in big metros of the country, who fled along with Choksi after swindling Punjab National Bank (PNB) of thousands of crores of rupees this year, has disappeared from London without a trace, making the Government’s apparent request for his extradition with the British Government, a joke. He was allegedly a part of the Indian business delegation at Davos where he had met Prime Minister Modi.

But Modi is determined to eradicate corruption.

The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) is reportedly deliberately weakening its case for the extradition of ‘King of Good Times’ Vijay Mallya, who is also cooling his heels in London. The CBI is allegedly preparing weak unsustainable witnesses to spoil its case and ensure that the British court dismisses its appeal. But we dare not question Modi, for Modi is an honest man. He has no family to leave behind wealth so why would he indulge in corruption? ask Modi apologists.

Talking about Modi’s claims, he has unilaterally declared that farmers are no more in distress for their income has doubled. As proof, he produced a video conference recording with a woman farmer Chandramani from Kanker village of Chhatisgarh, one of the most backward regions of our country, who was prompted to declare that her income had doubled

Another scamster fugitive from law, Lalit Modi, also taking refuge in the cool climes of London, was allegedly aided by our External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhra Raje to travel the world over without any hindrance from the Government of India. To date, there is no trace of Lalit Modi either. We have all but forgotten Lalit Modi. Yet our Prime Minister is reportedly making a determined effort to bring back Indian wealth looted and stashed away abroad by these scamsters!

Talking about Modi’s claims, he has unilaterally declared that farmers are no more in distress because their income has doubled. As proof, he produced a video conference recording with a woman farmer Chandramani from Kanker village of Chhattisgarh, one of the most backward regions of our country. She was reportedly prompted to declare that her income had doubled. Ah, what a master stroke to shut up all those talking of farmers’ distress? But unfortunately Punya Prasun Bajpai of ABP news channel did some research and exposed the hollowness of the Prime Minister’s claims shredding all of it to pieces.

But the Prime Minister’s word is gospel truth, no one dare question. So last week Punya Prasun Bajpai, who exposed in his special programme called ‘Masterstroke’ the false claims being made by this Government by tutoring poor Chandramani, was asked to go. Along with him went the News Managing Editor of the ABP Group, Milind Khandekar. Simultaneously another outspoken anchor Abhisar Sharma was also reportedly asked to go on leave for 15 days. It is not clear whether, the channel, reportedly under pressure from this Government, would eventually allow return of Sharma or he too may be asked to leave. Naturally. No one dare raise a finger at the honest Narendra Modi!
