*Fallout with Janhvi costs Kartik Dostana 2?

While Kartik Aaryan is no longer a part of Dostana 2 and any other future project of Karan Johar's Dharma productions, latest reports suggest that Kartik left Dostana 2 as he had an ugly fallout with his co-star Janhvi Kapoor. Reportedly, their friendship ended in January and after that Kartik was quite uncomfortable on the sets and avoided shooting for Dostana 2 citing the pandemic and eventually the shoot got delayed. Apparently, Kartik also asked the makers to drop Janhvi from the film and in exchange, was ready to adjust his fees for Dostana 2. This forced Karan to take a tough decision to drop Kartik and find his replacement. Reportedly, Kartik has already shot 60 percent of the film and replacing him will increase the film's budget. But it seems producer Karan is ready to shell out money and do the reshoots with a new actor. However, an official statement from both Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan is awaited.

*Adipurush shoot to shift from Maharashtra

As per the latest report, Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush's shoot location is shifting to Hyderabad amid COVID restrictions in Maharashtra. Adipurush was being shot in Mumbai Film City till March-end and the new schedule had to kick off a few weeks back. However, due to COVID 19 outrage in the state, it could not begin. Reportedly if things go as per plan, then the cast and crew may begin the next schedule in Hyderabad from May 15.

*Anushka & Virat start a fundraiser

Star couple Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli have started a fundraiser together, to raise funds for Covid-19 relief in India. Through a video message, the couple also urged their millions of followers to come and donate to the initiative.

Apart from Virat and Anushka, Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas also started a fundraiser last week for India. They have collected over ₹6.6 crores so far.

*Newly-weds Sugandha & Sanket in legal trouble

Comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale have been booked for violating Covid norms during their wedding in Jalandhar. According to reports, the case was filed after a video from Sugandha and Sanket's wedding went viral on social media as Punjab government has allowed only 10 participants at such functions but a purported video clip of the ceremony showed a large gathering. The wedding took place at a resort on April 26 and apart from Sugandha the police officials have also booked Sanket Bhosale’s family members and the hotel staff in a case related to violation of COVID norms.
