By ‘Aatmanirbhar’ government means ‘deal yourself’

As Nirmala Sitharaman announced the third trance of much talked about stimulus package for farmers who provide food to the whole country let's first see how millions of workers are facing the hunger.

Nirmala Sitharaman and Anurag Thakur on the third consecutive day presented the #jumla package, where most of the part of the presentation contributed to glorify PM Modi and his government

2. Focus of the economic package is glorification of PM and his government

The package is more of a show of jumlas like aatmnirbhar and sashaktikaran but immediate help is missing from the government

Nirmala Sitharaman and Anurag Thakur claimed that the government is working on building capabilities in next five years but fail to answer why the farmers have to struggle to sell their own crop

The stimulus package on the agriculture, fisheries, animal husbandry is just a formality to project the government as  the promise of full crop procurement has not been kept by most BJP state governments

Migrants are still on roads and walking barefoot with their families to reach home in lack of any arrangements from the government, heart wrenching stories and scenes are coming everyday about the sufferings and deaths of migrants as they walk on roads

Supply chains have been badly disrupted and the Finance Minister announced 50 per cent subsidy for transportation and storage to farmers but no relief for the perished crop due to lockdown has been announced.

7.All announcements are for the future, immediate relief is missing

When government says be aatmnirbhar, it means that people in distress, pain and hunger should take care of their issues on their own

8. With no help from the government, aatmnirbhar means deal with your woes yourself

The government has failed to handle the pandemic as well as management of the after effects of the lockdown. Indian people and economy are left on god's mercy.
