India’s COVID-19 caseload zoomed past the 9 lakh mark, with 28,498 new cases and 553 deaths, reported in the last 24 hours in the country.

The pace at which the number of cases are rising is alarming for India and clearly shows the lockdown failed to  control the spread of the disease
