Delhi Jal Board's headquarter was ransacked by a violent mob on Thursday. The video of the incident, which has gone viral on the internet, shows a mob of over 100 people breaking into the DJB's office, located in Jhandewalan. In multiple videos released by the Aam Aadmi Party, a mob can be seen forcing its way through the main gate of the DJB headquarters and vandalising property.

AAP MLA and DJB Vice-Chairman Raghav Chadha accused 'BJP goons' for the attack and said that incident left the staff demoralised. Raghav Chadha took to his official Twitter handle to share a video to show the extent of damage caused by the mob. The mob broke the windows panes, doors and ransacked the office. Raghav Chadha captioned the video as: “BJP goons have attacked the @DelhiJalBoard headquarters. My entire office has been vandalized. The staff has been threatened.”

Speaking to media, Raghav Chadha claimed that BJP goons had attacked the DJB office to warn Arvind Kejriwal against backing farmers' protest.

AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also attacked the BJP by sharing a video of Raghav Chadha’s chit-chat with media persons soon after the incident. Kejriwal captioned the video as: "It's so embarrassing. The BJP should understand that the Aam Aadmi Party and my government are with the farmers till their last breath. We are not afraid of such cowardice attacks. I appeal to all the workers not to be provoked by such attacks by the BJP. Stay calm and support the farmers."

Meanwhile, the BJP has defended itself and claimed that the AAP was trying to distract the media and public from the real issue, which they are of lack of water supply to Delhi's slum areas for the past 24 days.
