Don’t Take Corona Lightly: Pregnant Doctor’s Last Message Before She Died

A man took to Twitter to share a heartbreaking video of his pregnant wife, shot days before he lost her to Covid-19. Ravish Chawla posted a video of his wife Dimple Arora on Twitter. Dimple was an MDS in Public Health Dentistry and took all possible precautions against the coronavirus.

Dimple had contracted the virus in the seventh month of her pregnancy and succumbed to it on April 26, a day after losing her unborn child. The baby died in her womb, following which, the doctors had to operate on her.

According to the reports, she was administered Remdesivir and plasma therapy at the hospital, but on April 25, she developed pain in her abdomen and the ultrasound revealed that she had lost her baby.

The 2-minutes-32-seconds-long video was made by Dimple to warn others of the ruthlessness of the Covid virus.

Meanwhile, India recorded 3,48,421 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours along with 4,205 deaths, the highest single-day toll so far. With 4,205 deaths, India’s cumulative Covid toll has now crossed the 2.5-lakh mark and reached 2,54,197. India’s total Covid tally has now reached 2,33,40,938 while the active cases are at 37,04,099.
