The two biggest government hospitals were a ray of hope for thousands of sick people before corona outbreak

Poor and sick who came and too far from home are now stranded amid the   lockdown.

These people are now packed into the few shelter homes, or 'ren baseras'...

... on the side of the road and the subway connecting the two complexes.

Hundreds of people from several states  wait for treatment is endless.

Stuck in the national capital these people are struggling for food and medicines

Many of them need to get their documents to procure medicines but can't go back

The medicines prescribed to some patients are very expensive and not available

These patients helplessly wait for the lockdown to get over

Surging corona positive cases have made the challenge tougher for these patients

There are many patients who are severely ill but not receiving medical attention as yet.

There is neither any diagnosis nor any treatment happening in these hospitals

People have no money left and they want to go back home.
