Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee brought down the curtains on a high-octane campaign for the Nandigram assembly seat with high dramatic tone. Mamata Banerjee, who was injured in her foot minutes after filing the nomination papers for Nandigram on March 11, ended her political campaign for the seat by standing up with her

fractured leg amid huge applause from her supporters.

In a video, which is going around on social media, Mamata Banerjee can be seen insisting that she would like to stand up for the national anthem. Her party leader Subrata Bakshi and Dola Sen helped Mamata Banerjee stand up from the wheelchair and she stood on one leg during the national anthem.

TMC chief and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee fractured her leg during a roadshow in Nandigram on May 11.While the TMC chief has claimed that the injury was a result of a plot hatched by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), many have claimed that she injured her foot when the car's door smashed into her by mistake.
