Comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to make a comeback on the small screen with his popular show “The Kapil Sharma Show” with a new format and new team.

While his fans are eagerly looking forward to it, Kapil reportedly will be charging a lot more for the new season.

According to reports, Kapil Sharma was charging Rs 30 lakh per episode to host the show till its last season.

Now, he has reportedly hiked his fee per episode to Rs 50 lakh that means his fees will be Rs 1 crore a week.

However, the news is not officially confirmed yet.

The other artists associated with the show like Bharti Singh, Kiku Sharda & others also command lakhs of rupees.


Kapil took a break from TV in January this year, as he wanted to spend more time with his wife and kids. He & his wife welcomed their second child Trishaan on February 1st this year. The couple also has a daughter named Anayra.

Notably, Kapil Sharma's show stands out as one of the most celebrated shows on TV. Bollywood celebrities visit Kapil's show to promote their upcoming ventures, famous personalities like cricketers, singers, sportspersons also grace the show and share their life experiences with a twist of humour added by Kapil Sharma and his team.

And ever since the return of Kapil’s show was announced, a strong buzz has been created in the media. Although there is no official announcement for the dates, rumour has it that the show will most likely go on air from July 21.

Recently, Bharti Singh attended a creative meeting along with other teammates and while sharing the glimpses of the meeting she confirmed the return of the show soon.

Coming back to Kapil Sharma, he also has a comedy series in his kitty with a popular OTT platform (Netflix), which is most likely to premiere this year.
