Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections are just a few months away. From ruling party BJP to Samajwadi Party & Bahujan Samaj Party leaders all are eying towards the win. But before you vote, here is a glimpse of the educational qualifications of some of the dignitaries from Uttar Pradesh politics.
1. Akhilesh Yadav
Politician and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav who served the nation as former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister did his schooling from the military school in Dholpur, Rajasthan. He has a B.E Civil Environmental degree from Mysore University and has also studied at the University of Sydney in Australia as well.
2. Mayawati
The BSP chief & four-time chief minister of Uttar Pradesh holds a BA degree from Delhi University's Kalindi College. She also has a B.Ed & LLB degree.
3. Yogi Adityanath
Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath is originally from Uttarakhand. He graduated from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Srinagar, Uttarakhand. Before becoming the CM he won the Lok Sabha elections from Gorakhpur 5 times in a row.
4. Jayant Chaudhary
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary graduated from the London School of Economics. Jayant Chaudhary is a postgraduate and holds an M.Sc degree in accounting and finance.
5. Chandrashekhar
Chandrashekhar Azad also known as Ravan, a name he has given to himself is a lawyer and Dalit-Bahujan rights activist. He is the co-founder and national president of the Bhim Army. Before joining politics, the law graduate worked for the education of the backward communities. He is a youth leader and has a huge fan following among the younger population of UP.
6. Om Prakash Rajbhar
The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party leader Om Prakash Rajbhar founded his party in 2002. He is a former Minister of Backward Classes Welfare, Disabled People development in Uttar Pradesh. In the past, he quit the BJP and formed an alliance with Akhilesh Yadav's party. He graduated from Baldev Degree College in Varanasi. It is said that Om Prakash Rajbhar once used to drive autos to make a living.
