David Warner-led Sunrisers Hyderabad have got off to a poor start in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League where the Orange Army has lost three matches in a row. But that hasn’t affected the bonding between the players. While several SRH players including Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahaman are fasting in the holy month of Ramadan, SRH skipper David Warner and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson have also observed the fast with their team members.

In a video shared by Rashid Khan on his Instagram hand, he can be seen interacting with Williamson and Warner at what seems to be a restaurant where the cricketers may have gathered to break their fast. In the video, Rashid asks the two batsmen to share their experiences. Here’s what they said:

Mohammed Nabi and Khaleel Ahmed have also shared posts related to the Ramzan fasting on their Instagram handles.

With players from different countries coming together, the IPL has seen players learn and try to embrace different cultures.

Meanwhile, SRH have not had the best of starts to their IPL 2021 campaign, and are perishing at the bottom of the table with three losses in as many games. They lost their first match of the season to Kolkata Knight Riders before suffering defeats to Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians.

They will be up against Punjab Kings in their next match on Wednesday at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai.
