Weekend Curfew Imposed In Delhi; Check new Lockdown Guidelines

The Delhi government has decided to impose a weekend curfew in the national capital, starting from this week. This comes after the national capital Delhi reported 5,481 new cases and three more deaths on Tuesday. The positivity rate has now risen to 8.37%. The city now has 14,889 active cases. There are 168 people on oxygen support now while the number of patients on ventilators (14) has doubled in a day.


Full list of fresh restrictions in Delhi

  • Night curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM

  • Weekend curfew from Friday 10 PM to Monday 5 AM.

  • Private offices will remain open with 50 per cent capacity.

  • Government offices, barring essential services, to work from home.

  • Face masks mandatory for travelling in metro and DTC buses.

  • Cinemas, gyms are shut.

  • Shops have been allowed on an odd-even basis.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday tested positive for Covid-19 and has mild symptoms, the CM informed on Twitter. He has requested everyone who came in contact with him in the last few days to get.
