Local administration and residents rushed to help in rescue operations.

“One person dead and seven people missing after a boat capsized in Naugachhia area of Bhagalpur earlier today. Rescue & search operation underway by State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams, 9 people have been rescued so far”, said District Magistrate, Bhagalpur
