Entertainment: Other James Bonds pay tribute to Sir Roger Moore

British actor Roger Moore, who played the British secret agent James Bond died from cancer on Tuesday in Switzerland at the age of 89. The veteran actor’s family shared this news on his official Twitter account:

The first actor who made James Bond unforgettable on silver screen, Sean Connery, expressed his grief on Twitter.

Timothy Dalton, the 4th James Bond took to Twitter to convey his condolence.

Daniel Craig, too, took to Twitter to convey his condolence on the iconic actor’s death.

Sonu Nigam quits Twitter, supports Abhijeet

Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam has announced on Wednesday to quit Twitter in a series of 24 tweets. Sonu accused Twitter of conducting “one-sided sham” after its decision to suspend singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s account following his abusive tweets against women.

"I bid adieu to Twitter and my close to 7 Million followers today, leaving most Disappointed and angry at me, and some Sadists Happy (sic)," he tweeted.

Before signing off, he also advised his followers to take screenshots of his tweets as he intended to delete his account soon.

For Abhijeet's comments on JNU student-activist Shehla Rashid, Nigam said, "One Could disagree wth Abhijeetda's language but isn't Shehla's accusation that BJP has a Sex Racket, Provocation enough to Supporters?... If his account is deleted, why not Her? (sic)”

After expressing his views rather aggressively on Twitter, he appealed to his followers to have sensible discussion on Twitter. Interestingly his bidding farewell to Twitter, left twitterati wondering if he did that just to avoid another spate of aggressive reactions to his tweets.
