Madhya Pradesh Shocker On Camera: Women Beaten With Sticks By Family

In a shameful incident, two women got slapped, kicked, dragged by the hair and thrashed with sticks by their family members. This came into limelight when the video of the incident went viral on social media platforms.

According to the reports, the tribal women, who are cousins, were tortured publicly by their family members because they were apparently talking to their maternal cousins. In the video, we can see that a woman is begging for mercy, but the accused is continuously kicking her, beating her with a stick and dragging the victim by her hair.

The incident happened on June 22 in Dhar district's Pipalwa village, and just days later the videos were shared widely on social media after which the police intervened.

According to the reports, police have arrested 7 people in the matter and the investigation is on.

This is not the first time such an incident was reported in the area. Earlier, a similar incident surfaced in Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh. A woman was tied to a tree and beaten by her father and brothers for trying to escape from her in-laws house.
