His only source of income is salary from the government and interest from banks. He has declared his annual income as ₹19.92 lakhs (FY18) ₹14.59 lakhs (FY17), ₹19.23 lakhs (FY16), ₹8.58 lakhs (FY15) and ₹9.69 lakhs (FY14).

He has declared ₹38,750 as cash in hand and ₹4,143 in his bank account.

Modi has also declared that he has to collect ₹85,145 from the Income Tax department as tax refund for his earnings in financial year 2019. He has also declared that the prime minister's office also owes him ₹1.40 lakh, though the affidavit does not explain why.

Modi has declared that he owns 25 per cent share in a residential house in Gandhinagar. He has declared the market value of his share of the residential house as ₹1.10 crore.

This property in Gandhinagar became controversial because its ownership was claimed by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Land Revenue records in Gandhinagar mysteriously show Mr Modi and Mr

Jaitley each owning 1/4th of the land but there is no record of who owns the remaining land.

The Prime Minister in his affidavit has declared an approximate market value of ₹1.10 Crore for his portion of the property.

Modi has declared that he does not have any liabilities in the form of loans and dues.

The PM has declared his educational qualifications as Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University in 1978 and Master of Arts from Gujarat University in 1983.
