Wrestlers Protest Live: ‘History will remember you’: Former J-K Guv Satya Pal Malik joins protest

The wrestlers confirmed that they will not leave the protest site until the legal process is completed or Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is arrested

“The support needs to grow, and I will personally do my part to grow it, because this fight is not just theirs – it is for all women in our country. I want to tell these young women to be patient, because you will be successful. The entire country is behind you. History will remember you for ending corruption in the field of wrestling,” Satya Pal Malik told the media on Wednesday.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik has joined the wrestlers protest at Jantar Mantar to extend his solidarity in their fight against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

"When the pride of a party and its leaders skyrockets, then such voices are crushed. Let's support these sisters of ours. It is a matter of the honor of the country," Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has said in support of the protesting wrestlers. 

The wrestlers confirmed that they will not leave the protest site until the legal process is completed, or Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is arrested.

The country's top, wrestlers who are sitting in protest in Jantar Mantar against the WFI president who has been accused of sexual assault, today were seen resuming their exercise and training regimen at the protest site.
