Tokyo Olympics 2020 gold medallist, javelin-thrower Neeraj Chopra has become the talk of the town once again as he fulfilled his one more dream.

Neeraj took his parents on their first flight journey on Saturday Sep 11th.

He along with his parents Satish Kumar and Saroj Devi, was on his way to an event organised by his promoter JSW Sports at the Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) in Bellary, Karnataka.

He shared the photos from his journey and wrote,

"A small dream of mine came true today as I was able to take my parents on their first flight''.

Neeraj who had created history when he won India's maiden Olympic gold in athletics, in men's javelin throw, in Tokyo, last month, had said that he has decided to cut short his 2021 competition season to take some time off.

He also said that he will come back in 2022 to compete in the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
