Saharanpur: appalling tales of violence against Dalits

Gyanendra, a social activist says, “Dalit Muslims have been targeted in this attack. Thakurs are killing them one by one. Yesterday when they were attacked a police van (dial 100) was also seen there. The number of the van was UP32040979.”


As reported earlier, one person was killed and at least 13 were injured in a fresh spate of violence in Saharanpur on Tuesday. The victims were reportedly assaulted when they were returning after attending a rally by BSP chief Mayawati in Shabbirpur village.
