All schools closed in Gurugram, Faridabad on Monday, Tuesday

The Haryana government has ordered closure of all government, private and aided schools for next two days in Gurugram and Faridabad

In a view of the prevailing air pollution in Delhi and NCR, the Haryana government has ordered closure of all government, private and aided schools for next two days in Gurugram and Faridabad.

An official spokesperson of the government informed that all classes up to Class XII will remain closed on November 4, 5 in these districts to protect students from pollution. Keeping in view the directions of Central Pollution Control Board, the state government has also directed  all the Deputy Commissioners, District Education Officers and District Elementary Education Office to ensure the compliance of the directions of the Board  in letter and spirit.

The Deputy Commissioners of all other remaining districts have also been authorised to take decision regarding closure of schools on November 4 and 5, the official informed.
