On Saturday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted a video where he can be seen plogging at a beach in Chennai. The prime minister was in Chennai to attend the Indo-Chinese summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Plogging is a combination of jogging and picking up litter.

In the video, he can be seen picking up garbage on the beach and collecting it in a plastic bag. But the thing to be noted is that Non-biodegradable and single-use plastic products are banned in the state of Tamil Nadu. Netizens were quick to observe it and social media platforms in India were flooded with comments on this video:

Not only this, the video begins with him walking on the beach all alone, picking up garbage with bare hands. And then after 40 seconds, a plastic bag appears in his hand from nowhere.
