According to the Union Health Ministry, India reported 18,795 new Covid cases, 26,030 recoveries, and 179 deaths in the last 24 hrs, reported ANI. This takes the total cases to 3,36,97,581, the number of total recoveries to 32,9,58,002, the death toll to 4,47,373, the number of active cases to 2,92,206 and the total vaccination figure to 87,07,08,636 (1,02,22,525 in last 24 hrs).

28 new dengue cases in Meerut

Meerut CMO Akhilesh Mohan stated that 28 new cases of dengue have been reported in Meerut, which takes the number of active cases to 156, reported ANI. There are 70 patients who are hospitalised and 86 are in home isolation. The CMO said that they have arranged 10 beds for dengue cases in each Community Health Centre (CHC).
