CM Stalin says students must never go on path of ‘Godse’s camp’

CM says he is not "talking politics," but wants to underline that students need to have an understanding about politics

Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday, 9 July, said students must never go on the path of Godse and they need to have an understanding about politics.

Addressing an event at a college in Tiruchirappalli, he said: "There are several pathways for us; like the way shown by Gandhiji, Dr Ambedkar and Periyar. You students should never go on the path of Godse's camp."

Stressing the importance of education, Stalin said it is their "permanent asset" and said if Tamil Nadu came together as a single team no one can trounce the state.

He said he was not "talking politics," but wanted to underline that students need to have an understanding about politics.
