The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not wearing a face mask during a public appearance. They shared a video in which the PM can be seen without a mask. The 28 seconds video is reportedly from Kutch, Gujarat when the prime minister interacted with farmers and artisans.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led political party tweeted a video in which PM Modi walks into an event apparently without a mask whereas his security guards and other officials can be seen covering their faces.

Aam Aadmi Party shared the video on his official Twitter handle and trolled PM Modi by writing a caption: "Wear a mask. Don't be like Modi Ji".

In the video, PM Modi can be seen browsing through the handicraft items put up on display. Some of the media reports have claimed that PM Modi refused to take the mask when a shopkeeper selling handicraft items offers him a mask.

The video is doing the rounds on social media and many users have criticised PM Modi for the gesture. One Twitter user wrote, " Modi Ji is immune to COVID-19", while another said, "He has already taken the vaccine."

Ever since the coronavirus pandemic hit the country, PM Modi has been urging the masses to practise social distancing and wear masks in public. In his multiple addresses to the nation since March, he had been seen covering his face.

Meanwhile, India's total cases have risen to 99,56,558 with 355 new deaths. Total active cases now stand at 3,22,366. The total number of discharged cases, according to updated health ministry data on Thursday is 94,89,740 with 33,291 new discharges in the last 24 hours.
